Defensive Driving Workshops
In the State of Delaware, if you take a six-hour Basic Defensive Driving course, you can knock 10% off the liability portion of your car insurance.

If you take an Advanced Defensive Driving course you may save up to 15% off. DSEA is pleased to announce that we are offering these two courses just for members and their families, a $30 value for only $12. Refreshments will be provided and Horace Mann Insurance Co. representatives will also offer a door prize to a lucky winner. These courses will be given by a certified Delaware State Police officer.

Basic Defensive Driving - FULL
April 16 & 17 (6-9 pm) DSEA Dover office
April 23 & 30 (6-9 pm) DSEA Newark office

Advanced Defensive Driving
May 19 (6-9 pm) DSEA Dover office
June 4 (6-9 pm) DSEA Newark office

ESP Conference
March 15, 2008
Dover Downs Conference Center
This will be a conference for school support staff only: secretaries, paras, aides, custodians, food service workers and transportation workers. There will be workshops and critical conversations for each ESP group. NEA Secretary/Treasurer Lily Eskelsen will keynote.
Several gubenatorial candidates will also be on hand to talk to you about public education and your jobs.
